Revel is a commune in the Haute-Garonne department in southwestern France. The town has a 14th-century bastide town centre with a large arcaded square and a medieval market hall. The square is surrounded by arcaded buildings, some of which now contain cafes. The market hall has impressive carpentry work and ancient measuring containers. The town also has a church, the Church of Notre Dame, which was built in the neo-Roman style in the 19th century and features statues of Christ and the 12 apostles, as well as a decorative round clocktower. Revel is situated near several other villages and towns, including Soreze, La Pomarede, and Castelnaudary, which offer additional attractions and activities for visitors. The Saint-Férreol Lake is also nearby, offering leisure activities such as swimming and boating
