The Pont du Gard is an ancient Roman aqueduct bridge built in the first century AD to carry water over 50 km to the Roman colony of Nîmes. It is one of the best-preserved Roman aqueduct bridges and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The bridge has three tiers of arches made from Shelly limestone and stands 48.8 m high. The site offers various activities, including a museum, a 'Ludo' area for children, and a 'Memories of the Garrigue' trail, making it a family-friendly destination
