The tower is a remnant of a 12th-century palace and features a square base with an octagonal tower on top. The square tower, built in the 12th century, is 21 meters high and 10.60 meters wide, with walls up to 2 meters thick. It has several floors, each with its own characteristics, including arches, vaults, and openings for light and defense. The octagonal tower, added in the 17th century, is also 21 meters high and features three levels with windows and an accessible terrace offering panoramic views of the city and surrounding countryside. Visitors can climb to the top of the tower for stunning views of Millau and the Viaduc de Millau.
