What to expect

The Dolmen de Gallardet, also known as the Dolmen du Pouget, is a large prehistoric monument located on a hill overlooking the Hérault valley. It is one of the largest and most beautiful funerary monuments in the region. The dolmen is 12 meters long and is covered by three large capstones. It has a long corridor, an antechamber, and a sepulchral chamber, which is 6 meters long and 4 meters wide. The entrance is a narrow 'oven door' made of stone. The dolmen is a great place to visit for those interested in history and prehistoric architecture
