The Cirque de Troumouse is a cirque glaciaire located in the Pyrenees National Park, offering extraordinary landscapes with gigantic mountains, verdant alpine meadows, lakes, and small streams. It is part of a unique cross-border site included on the UNESCO World Heritage List: the Pyrenees – Mont Perdu site. The cirque has several hiking trails, including a difficult 12.1 km boucle with a 665m positive elevation gain, which takes around 5 hours and 20 minutes to complete. The trail starts at the Refuge d'Héas and passes through the Gave du Héas, the Gave de Touyères, and the Cabane des Aires, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and lakes. The cirque is also home to a variety of wildlife, including isards, marmots, and vaches. Visitors can access the cirque from Gavarnie-Gèdre, and there are several refuges and hostels in the area that offer accommodation and food
