Col de Menté

The Col de Menté is a mountain pass in the central Pyrenees in the department of Haute-Garonne in France. It is situated on the D44 road between Saint-Béat and the D618 and connects the Ger and Garonne valleys. The pass is 9.2km long and bridges 801 vertical meters with an average gradient of 8.7%. The top of the ascent is located at 1344 meters above sea level. The Col de Menté is known for its beautiful scenery, with 16 hairpin turns, and is considered one of the toughest climbs in Occitania.
