What to expect
The Via Rhôna is a scenic route that runs along the Rhône River and the Mediterranean coast in the Occitanie region of France. In Aigues-Mortes, the route starts at the town center and follows the canal du Rhône à Sète to the Grau du Roi. From there, it continues along the beach to the Espiguette beach, a natural and sensitive area. The route is suitable for families and offers a mix of easy cycling and scenic views. The area is also known for its beautiful beaches, such as the Grande Motte and Palavas-les-Flots, and its various tourist attractions, including the Seaquarium and the phare de l'Espiguette

THE RHONA ROAD
Activities: We started our discovery of the Via Rhona between Le Grau du Roi and Aigues Mortes to do a small part of the Via Rhona. We set off from the side of Aigues Mortes, along the Étang du Médard and the canal du petit Rhône to Sète
Highlights: We loved the landscapes. "The pretty reflections on the ponds, the pink flamingos, the horses, the wild grasses, the clouds..." It was a "very beautiful moment, a little sporty but not too much!" ✨
