What to expect

The P'tit Train de Saint-Trojan is a tourist train that runs from the Saint-Trojan-les-Bains train station, located in the south of the Île d'Oléron, to the wild beaches of the Pertuis de Maumusson. The train journey offers beautiful landscapes of fine sand and pine forests that are inaccessible by road. The train also serves the beaches of Gatseau and Maumusson on the Côte Sauvage. The P'tit Train de Saint-Trojan has been in operation since 1963 and combines the pleasures of beach days, sun, and nature walks. The train also offers special themed rides, such as the 'Trains du soleil Couchant' in July and August. The Buffet de la Gare is open from April to September, and the wagon bar is open in July and August
