La Roque Saint-Christophe is a troglodytic fort and city located in Peyzac-le-Moustier, Dordogne. The site features a 1-kilometer-long limestone wall, 80 meters high, with around 100 rock shelters that have been occupied by humans since prehistoric times. The site was later developed into a fort and a troglodytic city in the Middle Ages. Visitors can explore the site and learn about the history and construction of the troglodyte dwellings, as well as see reconstructed cuisine, places of worship, and civil engineering machines. The site also offers a 3D projection showing the evolution of the cliff over time.
