Mornac-sur-Seudre is a commune in the Charente-Maritime department in southwestern France. It is a member of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France (The Most Beautiful Villages of France) Association. The village has a picturesque medieval centre with narrow streets lined with ancient houses, whitewashed and typical of the local Charentais style. The main sights include the roman style Church of Saint-Pierre, a fortified church dating from the 11th century, the medieval market hall, the port area of the Seudre River, and the remains of a chateau that once dominated the village.
