The Grotte du Grand Roc is a cave located in the Dordogne region of France, near the village of Les Eyzies. It is a unique and fascinating place to visit, with an incredible variety and density of crystallizations rarely matched in other caves. The cave features a veritable mineral forest, with calcite flows carpeting the floor and stalactites and stalagmites forming columns. Visitors can explore the cave and discover its many wonders, including eccentric and drapery formations. The cave is also close to the Laugerie Basse shelters, which offer workshops for children on 'Animals and prehistoric hunting' and 'Cro-Magnon the architect'
