The Dune du Pilat is Europe's tallest sand dune, nestled between the Atlantic Ocean, a pine forest, the Arcachon Bay, a sandbank, and a peninsula, offering breathtaking views and a unique landscape. It has a height of 106m and a length of 2.7km, made up of 60 million cubic meters of sand, with a history dating back 2,600 years. The dune offers guided walks, workshops, and story-telling evenings for adults and children, as well as a discovery trail and exhibition
