La Passe de l'Ecuissière is a location on the west coast of Oléron island in France. It features an écluse à poissons, a type of fish lock, which is the only one still in activity in the south of the island. The area is also known for its preserved beaches and dunes, making it a great spot for nature walks and water activities. The nearby Plage de l'écuissière is a sandy beach ideal for walking, running, and fishing at low tide, and it's also a good spot for swimming and surfing at high tide
