Musée d'Aquitaine

The Musée d'Aquitaine is a museum showcasing the history of Bordeaux and Aquitaine, with a collection of over 70,000 pieces tracing the history of the region from Prehistory to the present day. The museum features permanent collections, including pieces on Prehistory, Protohistory, Roman Empire, the Middle Ages, and the Modern Era, as well as temporary exhibitions. Some notable pieces include the Venus of Laussel, the Gallic Gold torque, and the cenotaph of Michel de Montaigne.
