Botanical Gardens of Bordeaux

Today, there are two botanical gardens in the city: the Jardin botanique de Bordeaux, located in the Jardin public, and the Jardin botanique de la Bastide, located on the right bank of the Garonne River. The Jardin botanique de Bordeaux features a systematic collection of over 3,000 plant species, including indigenous and exotic plants, as well as a seed collection and herbarium. The Jardin botanique de la Bastide has six different sections, including a water garden, an arboretum, and a field with 44 plots.
