The Village fromager Graindorge is a cheese dairy located in the heart of the Pays d'Auge, Normandy. It offers a unique visit to discover the cheese workshops through a corridor of glass-protected galleries, where visitors can learn about the different stages of cheese production, from the arrival of the milk to the packaging of the cheese. The dairy produces Livarot and Pont l’Evêque, cheeses that are Norman Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) cheeses. Visitors can also explore the pleasant boutique, which offers a range of cheese products, Normandy regional products, and souvenir gifts. The Village Fromager provides a free audio-guided tour, making it a great place to visit with family and friends to learn about the cheese-making process

Activities: We went on a free visit to the Graindorge cheese factory in Livarot. We were able to see the production of the four AOP cheeses of Normandy: Livarot, Camembert de Normandie, Neufchâtel and Pont-l'évêque. The visit took about 1h30
Highlights: A visit not to be missed for young and old! We will come back when James is a little older, as there are many explanatory panels and games, very fun and interesting ✨
