A weekend on the Normandy PDO Cheese Route

A weekend on the Normandy PDO Cheese Route
This family's experience:

Activities: We discovered the production of Camembert de Normandie. The visit is done from the outside through large windows. We could see the process: the raw milk is not heated above 40°C, a natural enzyme is added, the curd is cut, the molding is done with a ladle, the cheeses are salted manually, and they are placed in a drying room

Highlights: It was a family atmosphere that we appreciated! We got to see where the famous Camembert de Normandie AOP is made. It's one of the two producers certified AOP in the village. There are over 100 cows, producing 600 Camembert de Normandie AOP per day, we could taste the cheeses! ✨
