The Parc des Promenades is a public park located in Alençon, near the town hall. Created in 1783, it is the oldest park in Alençon and offers a large French garden with trees that are over 100 years old, a pretty square with rose gardens, aviaries, rockeries, a terrace, and a gazebo. The park is a delight for all, with areas for children to play, including playgrounds and animal enclosures, and plenty of space for adults to stroll and relax. The park also hosts various events throughout the year, such as 'Rendez-vous aux jardins', 'Alençon Plage', and 'Fête du sport', as well as an open-air cinema

Activities: We went to "Parc des Promenades", located in the city center, the oldest park in Alençon. We enjoyed playing on the large lawns and visiting the enclosures with goats, rabbits, chickens, and peacocks. We also explored the rose garden, wooded area, kiosk, pond, and the two playgrounds for kids. We were able to get drinks and ice cream there
Highlights: The children loved the playgrounds, with the carousels, swings, suspended houses, and the small train. For the older ones, there were cradles, nets, beams, and bars. "We are thrilled", so much to do whatever the age of our kids! ✨
