Solar Impulse

The Solar Impulse Foundation is an environmental non-profit project that aims to identify and promote clean and profitable solutions for the environment. The foundation is known for its round-the-world flight in an entirely solar-powered plane completed in 2016, as well as the Solar Impulse Efficient Solution label awarded to 1000 solutions that are both profitable and good for the planet. The project's goals include making the first circumnavigation of the Earth by a piloted fixed-wing aircraft using only solar power and bringing attention to clean technologies
