What to expect

The Jardin du Luxembourg is a beautiful garden located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, France. It covers 23 hectares and is known for its lawns, tree-lined promenades, tennis courts, flowerbeds, and model sailboats on its octagonal Grand Bassin. The garden also features the picturesque Medici Fountain, built in 1620, and a variety of sculptures, including works by famous artists such as Dalou, Bourdelle, Rodin, and Zadkine. Visitors can stroll through the garden, play tennis or boules, or visit the rucher-école, a beekeeping school. The garden is also home to a large population of statues and offers a peaceful escape from the city. For families, the garden has a large playground, and visitors can rent model sailboats or attend one of the many cultural events and activities organized throughout the year
