What to expect
The Orangerie Park is a stunningly beautiful piece of natural heritage, recognized as a remarkable location in terms of its landscape art and history. The park has been a favourite place to stroll and relax for the people of Strasbourg since the eighteenth century. It features a wide expanse of greenery, centuries-old trees, and outstanding landscape features spread across 26 hectares. The park includes a French-style promenade, English-style landscaping arrangements, an artificial lake with a waterfall, and numerous works of art. The Joséphine Pavilion, a classical-style building, hosts exhibitions and temporary events. The park is also a paradise for children, with three playgrounds, large lawns, boat rides, and a retro car track. Additionally, it is a popular spot for athletes, with a 2.2 km loop for joggers. The park is pet-friendly and has a zoo, a mini-farm, and a bowling alley, making it an ideal place for family outings
