Cap Corse

Cape Rogliano, Corsica, France

What to expect

Cap Corse is a rocky peninsula in Corsica, France, known for its exceptionally beautiful and unspoilt stretches of coast. The peninsula is 40 kilometers long and 15 kilometers wide, with villages perched on cliffs and secluded rocky inlets along the west coast, and tiny fishing ports and sandy coves along the east coast. Visitors can enjoy coastal walks along the rugged northern coast, explore the village of Luri with its lemon trees and vineyards, and visit the annual wine fair in July. The peninsula is also home to several historic sites, including the Moulin Mattei, a restored mill, and the village of Nonza, with its flower-garnished slate-roofed houses. The commune of Rogliano, located at the northern tip of the peninsula, offers stunning views of the surrounding coastline and is home to several ruined castles, towers, and churches. The port of Macinaggio, located in Rogliano, is a popular spot for boating and water sports, with a marina that can accommodate up to 585 boats
