The Tavignano is a coastal river in the department of Haute-Corse, Corsica, France. It is the longest river in Corsica after the Golo, with a length of 88.7 km. The river flows from west to east and empties into the Tyrrhenian Sea near the city of Aléria. The Tavignano has several tributaries, including the Restonica, Vecchio, Tagnone, and Corsiglièse. The river's basin covers an area of 693 km2 and has a population of 12,749 inhabitants. The Comité de bassin de Corse is the managing organization for the river.
