Lac de Nino, also known as Lake Nino, is a glacial lake located in the Haute-Corse region of Corsica, France. It is situated at an altitude of 1743 meters and has a surface area of 0.065 km². The lake is a popular hiking destination, with a 9.2-km out-and-back trail that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The trail starts at the Maison Forestière de Popaghja and follows the Vallon de Colga to the Colga sheepfold, before reaching the lake. The lake is home to beautiful wild horses and offers a unique retreat for those looking to experience Corsica's natural beauty. The surrounding area is also home to a variety of plant and animal species, including the Golden Eagle, Corsican Fire Salamander, and Salmo Macrostigma trout
