The Palais Fesch, also known as the Musée Fesch, is a museum of fine arts located in Ajaccio, Corsica. It was established by Cardinal Joseph Fesch, Napoleon's maternal uncle, and features an impressive collection of Italian paintings from the 14th to the 18th century. The museum has a large collection of Italian old masters, including Botticelli, Giovanni Bellini, and Titian, as well as a Napoleonic collection with paintings and memorabilia. The building itself is a beautiful example of 19th-century architecture, with a grand courtyard and a chapel containing the tombs of Cardinal Fesch and his mother, Letizia Ramolino. Visitors can explore the museum's 27 rooms, which showcase over 400 works of art, including paintings, sculptures, and other artifacts.
