Château du Rivau

The Château du Rivau is a medieval Loire castle in the midst of 14 fairytale gardens, offering a unique and humorous experience for visitors. The castle has a shape reminiscent of 13th-century fortified castles and features a square-shaped keep, which was the heart of the castle's fortification. The gardens are the focus of the visit, with 500 varieties of fragrant roses, an extraordinary vegetable garden, and monumental works of art. The château also features a royal stable, which was built in the 15th century and supplied royal stallions.
