The Château Royal de Blois is a historic castle located in Blois, France. It showcases four grand architectural styles, including medieval, Gothic, Renaissance, and classic. The castle has a rich history, having hosted numerous key figures in French and European history, including seven kings and ten queens. It features a collection of over 35,000 works of art, with more than 1,000 objects on display. Visitors can explore the castle using an audioguide available in eight languages or a digital tablet called HistoPad, which provides a precise reconstitution of the venues as they were in the 16th century. The castle also offers a sound and light show, interactive 3D screens, and a redesigned Foix terrace with gardens. Additionally, the castle has a museum of fine arts and regularly hosts special events and exhibitions

Activities: We visited the château with an Histopad, a digital tablet that uses augmented reality to bring the castle's past to life. The Histopad let us see historical reconstructions, 3D objects, and details not visible to the naked eye
Highlights: The kids loved seeing the heavy knight's armor, while we were impressed by the rich tapestry and furniture. The Histopad was a great way to learn about the history of the castle ✨
