The Aquarium de Vannes, also known as the Aquarium du Golfe du Morbihan, is a former private aquarium that was open to the public. It was located in the city of Vannes in the Morbihan department of Brittany. The aquarium featured several tanks showcasing various aquatic worlds, including cold waters, warm waters, and fresh waters. Visitors could see a variety of marine animals, such as seahorses, turtles, sharks, piranhas, and electric eels. The aquarium was also home to a 3-meter-long crocodile named Eleanor, who was found in the sewers of Paris. The aquarium played a role in conserving the fauna of the Gulf of Morbihan and presented two endangered species found in the gulf: the hippocampus and the cuttlefish

Activities: We went to visit the Aquarium de Vannes around 1 pm. We were able to make the most of the place as there was nobody there! We were offered small seats for the children so they could see everything. We started with the turtles, then we saw a crocodile, small sharks and sea turtles. We ate upstairs and enjoyed the play area
Highlights: It was great that the staff offered us seats so our children could enjoy the same view as us. Our children were fascinated by the crocodile that was found in the sewers of Paris! They also loved the fish, turtles and sharks. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful ✨
