The Réserve des 7 îles, located off the coast of Perros-Guirec in Brittany, France, is a protected nature reserve that covers an area of approximately 19,700 hectares. The reserve is home to a diverse range of marine life, including over 25,000 pairs of 11 species of seabirds, as well as a colony of 30 grey seals. The reserve has been protected since 1912 and was officially classified as a nature reserve in 1976. It has recently been extended to include a larger area of marine habitat. The reserve is an important site for scientific research and conservation efforts, with a focus on protecting the marine ecosystem and the species that inhabit it. The reserve is also home to a variety of flora, including algae, angiosperms, and fungi. The Île aux Moines, the only island accessible to the public, features a historic fort and other buildings dating back to the 18th century
