The Phare de Goulenez, also known as the Grand Phare de l'île de Sein, is a lighthouse located on the island of Sein, off the coast of Brittany, France. The current lighthouse was built between 1950 and 1951, replacing a previous one that was destroyed during World War II. It stands 52.90 meters tall and has a focal height of 49 meters. The lighthouse is automated and has a range of 25 seconds with four white flashes. It is inscribed as a historic monument and is open to visitors in July and August. The island of Sein is part of the Parc naturel régional d'Armorique and the Réserve de Biosphère d'Iroise, and the lighthouse is an important part of the island's heritage and ecosystem
