Lormandière

The site of Lormandière is an ancient industrial site located in Chartres-de-Bretagne, 10 km south of Rennes. It is composed of meadows, prairies, and woodlands, and is home to 500 plant species. The limestone subsoil has favored the installation of a particular flora, with over twenty rare species present, including beautiful orchids. The old quarry now hosts a body of water, and a discovery trail has been developed to highlight the site's natural heritage
