What to expect

The Pic de l'Aigle is a mountain peak offering magnificent views of the Jura, the Hérisson valley, the Grandvaux, and Lake Ilay. On a clear day, you can see the Mont Blanc massif. An orientation table at the summit allows you to read the 360° panorama. The site is suitable for hiking and has several trails, including a medium mountain hike to the summit and a longer loop to the 4 lakes lookout. The hike can be extended to visit the 3 lakes lookout and the 4 lakes lookout. The site is family-friendly, with a picnic area, and pets are welcome. It's recommended to equip yourself correctly, stay on marked trails, and keep a distance between you and the void. The site is classified as Natura 2000 and has measures to protect the environment, including a voluntary quiet zone from April 15 to September 15
