What to expect
Lac Kir is an artificial lake located in Dijon, France, created in 1964 and named after its creator, Félix Kir. The lake is surrounded by 30 hectares of green spaces and offers various activities such as boating, fishing, and swimming. A scenic walking trail surrounds the lake, and the area is also known for its vineyards. In the summer, the lake hosts the Dijon Plage operation, which includes rental of parasols, deckchairs, and supervised beach activities. The lake also features a nautical base where visitors can rent sailboats or canoe-kayaks. Additionally, the area has picnic areas, bars, and restaurants, making it a great spot for families to relax and enjoy the outdoors

DIJON BEACH
Activities: We went to the lake, which has a beach. We took our bucket, shovel, and rake, as well as swimwear, a towel, and sunscreen. My son made a hole in the sand with his feet in the water. Baby boy watched his brother splash around in the water, and I sunbathed on a deckchair with a tea from the snack bar
Highlights: The lake has a beautiful sandy beach, perfect for vacationing without actually leaving. My son was happy making a hole in the sand and playing in the water. We also enjoyed the atmosphere, which while not Mediterranean, has its own charm. My son had a great time, and told me: "Mom, it was great!" ✨
LAKE KIR
Activities: We went to Lac Kir in Dijon, the perfect destination for sunny days. We took a walk around the lake, which is 3.6 km, ideal for little legs. We took the bike, with one child on a balance bike and the other in a baby seat. We walked along the lake with a few 'duck' stops and made a long break on the small bridge from where we admired the cascade
Highlights: The walk was beautiful and pleasant, not difficult, nor boring. We enjoyed the nice weather and the beautiful scenery ✨
