Lac du Mont-Cenis

Lac du Mont-Cenis is a beautiful artificial lake located near the Col du Mont Cenis at 1974m altitude, close to the border between France and Italy. The surrounding area offers a range of outdoor activities, including skiing and snowboarding in the winter, with 125km of slopes and 29 lifts. In the summer, visitors can enjoy hiking trails, cycling, and sampling local produce in the refuges and restaurants. The area is also home to a variety of wildlife, including marmots and cows in the flower-filled mountain pastures.
