Lac d'Anterne is a beautiful lake located in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region of France, near the city of Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval. The lake is surrounded by stunning mountain scenery and offers breathtaking views of the Chaîne des Fiz. Visitors can hike to the lake via a moderately difficult trail that takes around 6 hours to complete, with a denivelé of 1150m. The trail passes through a variety of landscapes, including rocky terrain, prairies, and forests, and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and waterfalls, such as the Cascades de La Pleureuse and de Sauffaz. The Refuge d'Anterne, a mountain refuge, is located near the lake and offers food and drink to hikers. The lake is also a great spot for picnics and relaxation. For more experienced hikers, it is possible to continue on to the Col d'Anterne, which offers panoramic views of the Mont Blanc, the Lac de Pormenaz, and the Refuge d'Anterne
