The Wow Safari de Peaugres is a 80-hectare zoo located in Peaugres, France. It is home to over 1,200 animals from 135 species. The zoo features a safari area where visitors can drive through and see animals such as giraffes, zebras, and rhinoceros in semi-liberty. There is also a pedestrian area with various exhibits, including a vivarium, a reptile house, and a sea lion enclosure. The zoo offers several interactive experiences, such as a 'soigneur d’un jour' program where visitors can help care for the animals. The zoo also hosts events and activities throughout the year, including a 'Festival Lumières sauvages' with lanterns and a 'Week-end des Amphibiens' with exhibitions and games. Additionally, the zoo has a 'Refuge LPO' for birds and participates in several European animal protection programs
