What to expect

Lac Fourchu is a lake in the French Alps, located in the massif du Taillefer. It is the largest lake in the plateau formed by roches moutonnées and is surrounded by other lakes, including Lac Canard, Lac de la Veche, Lac Noir, Lac de l'Agneau, and Lac Culasson. The lake is named for its 'Y' shape and is fed by small torrents and precipitation. Its emissary flows into the ruisseau de Gavet, which is a tributary of the Romanche river. The lake is home to trout and is a popular destination for hiking and snowshoeing. The area is also known for its beautiful panoramas and well-marked paths, making it a great place to visit with family and friends
