What to expect

The Place des Terreaux is a historic square in Lyon, located in the 1st district. It's a famous Lyonnais landmark and a UNESCO heritage site. The square is surrounded by notable buildings, including the City Hall, the Saint-Pierre Palace, and the Fine Arts Museum. In the center of the square stands the Bartholdi fountain, a monumental fountain with a 'Char de la Liberté' that symbolizes the Garonne and its four tributaries flowing into the ocean.
