The Place Bellecour is a large square in the centre of Lyon, France. It is one of the largest open squares in Europe and the largest pedestrian square in Europe. The square has an equestrian statue of King Louis XIV and another statue representing the Petit Prince and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. It also has two pavilions housing the tourist information office and an art gallery. The square is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has a small park for children, fontaines, and kiosks with brasseries and florists

Activities: We went to Place Bellecour, which has been renovated and features shaded areas, fountains, benches, and a playground divided into two zones, one for smaller children and another with games for older kids. We took advantage of the benches near the fountains to have a snack or a picnic
Highlights: We loved the playground, it's clean and pretty, and the games are really cool! "Cabins, several slides, tops…" The entire area is well enclosed by barriers. My daughter loves this square, she always has a great time. We also appreciated the free toilets with a baby changing area ✨
