The Massif de Belledonne is a mountain range in the Dauphiné Alps in southeast France. It is approximately 60 km long and 10 km wide, with the highest point being the Grand Pic de Belledonne at 2,977 m. The range is known for its spectacular scenery, ski areas, and diverse alpine land types and uses. It overlooks the Isère Valley and features a variety of vegetation zones, including hill, montane, subalpine, and alpine zones.
