What to expect
The Plateau des Lacs is a beautiful natural area located in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region of France, near the city of Le Bourg-d'Oisans. It features several lakes, including the Lac Blanc, Lac du Milieu, and Lac de la Fare, which are surrounded by stunning mountain scenery and offer breathtaking views. The area is perfect for hiking and walking, with several trails of varying difficulty, including a 7km trail that takes around 2h30 to complete. The plateau is also home to a variety of flora and fauna, and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, including the Massif des Grandes Rousses. Visitors can also explore the nearby Lac du Lauvitel, a turquoise lake surrounded by impressive cliffs and waterfalls, which is a great spot for contemplation and relaxation
