What to expect
The Lac du Pontet is a beautiful lake located in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region of France, near the city of Le Bourg-d'Oisans. It offers a stunning view of the surrounding mountains, including the Agneaux and the massif of la Meije, as well as the valley below. The lake is accessible by a hike from the village of Villar-d'Arêne or its hamlet of Les Cours, and there are also two parking lots available. Visitors can enjoy swimming, fishing, and hiking in the area, and there is a snack bar near the lake. The lake is also a great spot for nature lovers, with the possibility of seeing marmots and other wildlife
