Alpe d'Huez is a ski resort in the French Alps, located in the commune of Huez, Isère department, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The resort is part of the Grandes Rousses massif and offers a wide range of ski slopes for all levels, as well as a variety of other winter sports and activities. The resort has a total of 135 slopes, including 17 black, 39 red, 37 blue, and 42 green slopes, and a total of 250 kilometers of slopes. Alpe d'Huez also has a snowpark, a ski school, and a variety of other amenities, including restaurants, bars, and shops. In the summer, the resort offers hiking, mountain biking, and other outdoor activities. The resort is known for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, and its unique medieval history, with the site of the Alpe having been occupied since the Middle Ages
