What to expect
The Evian-Neuvecelle Funicular is a historic funicular railway that connects the town of Evian-les-Bains to the village of Neuvecelle. The funicular, which was built in 1907, is a rare piece of railway heritage and has been listed as a historic monument. It allows visitors to climb 300 meters without effort and offers a panoramic view of the surrounding area. At the top, visitors can enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Geneva and access the Parc Clair Matin. The funicular is a popular attraction in the town and is suitable for families. There is a buvette, or small café, at the top station that is open during the summer months
