Courchevel is a French Alps ski resort located in the Tarentaise Valley, part of Les Trois Vallées, the largest linked ski areas in the world. The resort centre of Courchevel is at 1,747 metres and offers a range of ski trails for all levels, including 600 km of pistes. The resort is known for its exclusive atmosphere, attracting wealthy clientele, and hosts one of the largest concentrations of 5-star ranking luxury hotels. It has hosted several sports events, including the 1992 Winter Olympics and the 2023 World Ski Championships. The resort also offers other activities, such as hiking trails, including the Loop of the Col de la Loze, the Itinerary of the Bouc Blanc, and the Nordic site of Praz, which has 3 loops of 1.5 km, 7 km, and 8.5 km
