Mont Aiguille is a mountain in the Vercors Massif of the French Prealps, located in the commune of Chichilianne. The mountain, known as one of the Seven Wonders of Dauphiné, is a relatively flat limestone mesa surrounded by steep cliffs. Its first climb in 1492 marked the birth of mountaineering. The mountain lies within an area designated as the Vercors Regional Natural Park and is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including orchids and bouquetins. Visitors can admire the mountain's unique shape and stunning views from its summit, which offers a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape.
