What to expect

The Lac Bleu is a beautiful artificial lake located in the commune of Champclause, in the Haute-Loire department of France. It is situated at an altitude of 1,265 meters and has a depth of 7 meters. The lake is fed by a natural spring and its water has a distinctive blue color due to the presence of lauzes, a type of volcanic rock that covers the bottom of the lake. The site has been developed for ecotourism, with gradins and a small stage for hosting events. Visitors can walk around the lake and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The lake is also surrounded by a village in miniature, which is one of the few of its kind in Haute-Loire. The site invites to a peaceful walk and contemplation, and is suitable for families
