What to expect
The Moomin Museum is an experiential art museum for Moomin fans and art lovers of all ages. It features a permanent exhibition of Tove Jansson's original illustrations, allowing visitors to relive the adventures of the beloved Moomin family. The museum includes a five-storey, over two-metre-tall tableaux of the Moomin House, crafted by Tuulikki Pietilä, Dr Pentti Eistola, and Tove Jansson. Visitors can also experience the magic of Moominvalley by stepping inside the Hobgoblin's Hat, marvel at beautifully crafted tableaux, and be amazed by a sparkling comet soaring across the sky. The museum offers a diverse program of regularly changing exhibitions in its Observatory
