The Dolphinarium in Tampere, Finland, was a facility that housed dolphins for public display. It was part of the Särkänniemi theme park, which also features an aquarium, museum, planetarium, and other leisure activities. The dolphinarium opened in 1985 and was home to several dolphins, including those born in captivity. The facility closed in 2015, and the remaining dolphins were transferred to another park. Families can still visit the Särkänniemi theme park, which offers various attractions, including an amusement park, Doghill Fairytale Farm, Näsinneula Observation Tower, and an aquarium
