What to expect

The Pommern is a four-masted merchant sailing ship and the only one of its kind still in its original state. It is a typical cargo carrier, built in 1903 in Scotland, and has carried various goods such as timber, saltpetre, and grain. The ship is now a museum and offers a unique experience for visitors, with a new visitor experience called 'Pommern - 100 days under sail' that brings the ship to life with the crew's own stories. The ship is accessible, with a bridge and a lift, making it easy for people with strollers or wheelchairs to visit. There are also guided tours available, including a guided tour onboard Pommern and an opening lecture in the auditorium. The Pommern can also be booked for evening events, such as cocktails on deck
